rooting kf2 10.5.1 topic

i don't know if this has bin asked before haven't come across any posts so far dealing directly with my question.

i have bin reading many different posts on how to root this tablet. all seem to be some long dragged out process. and all referring to ver 10.3.1 or close to that. now i rooted kindle 1 with your how to and it went smoothly. i am hoping to get some instruction a step by step from some one who actually did root a kindle fire 2 version 10.5.1 so i don't make a brick. BTW: i have a factory cable witch i used on the kindle fire 1 .
