I'm on KK and haven't received an update to Lollipop. I know KK changed the write permissions for the SD cards and there is a fix if you have root. I don't want to root as I'm waiting for the Lollipop OTA. When I tried to use the microSD card for the camera app it tells me the card is full. The card shows 31.72gb free in storage though. I tried copying files to the card with a 3rd party app, which of course did not work. Also I see no way to copy files to it using the default file manager. In KK Samsung allowed the camera to write to the card and the default file manager. Did LG not build that in? It has no problem reading the video and audio I have on the card.

Is there any Huawei Mediapad 7 Youth 2 roms or recovery ?

Just wanted to know if this is even a possibility I know we got flashfire but just in case we need to use a back up. And I haven't got into the whole multi system thing yet.

Does someone managed with root,cpu app/settings to stop the heat on 5.0.2 while just only browsing or playing simple games like Candy Crush? If possible, I want a good root recommendation or a method to stop this, very annoying even with 3-5 minutes on Chrome...

Using the app Ampere which detects charging rates of different USB cables, I found that Motorola USB cables give a consistent 590mA charging rate.

I bought some Anker USB cables which look and feel very durable, and they also give a maximum of 600mA BUT.....it does start to vary and it's not consistent. At times, the rate will go all the way down to 320mA and rise up to 590mA or it'll just decrease to 570mA and again go back up to 590mA or 600mA. It's not as consistent as the Motorola USB cable. As I'm typing this out, it went down to 330mA and now it's just been ranging in the 420-450mA for the past couple of minutes.

So has anyone found any other alternative cables and maybe used the Ampere app to check their charging rate?

I've tried loads of launchers right now and none of them seem to make the phone go to sleep if I double tap the screen.
I know that you can double tap the notification bar to make it go to sleep but that's terrible. It's uncomfortable to try and do so since my hands are not that big.

Hi everyone. Quick question, is there an easy way to make a app that is unavailable for my model work? I have a Minix X7 android tv box and would like to access the SKyGO tv app on it. I think is is running android 4.4.2 from memory. The SKygo app at this stage looks to only be available for a handful of common devices in my country (NZ). I do notice however that it has recently worked on my Teclast X98 Air 3g with 4.4.4. OK.

The X7 is spoofed a a nexus 10 or something ( from when I flashed a rom a while back)

I've spent much of the weekend looking for a Lockscreen for my ZTE ZMax that will allow me to place Widgets on the Lockscreen, or will put a decent Weather app on the Lockscreen and all the Play Store has in it is JUNK and CRAP.

Is there a decent Lockscreen available for Android users, or just the same old crap on the PS?

I dont want a bumper case with a clear back, or some bumper that has a molded translucent back. I just want a TPU bumper and thats it. even Metal only but really just TPU.

I have the SLickwrap natural series Leather back with the new back replacement as well and still its too thick and I hate that I can see the edge of the leather sticking up. Such a waste of money and time remocing my OEM back just to have the same ugly edge showing.

I had a spigion case with the clear back and I was able to remove the clear part leaving just the rubber surround but the rubber part was too loose as it depending on the back piece for rigidity.

Looking on amazon and all I see are clear back bumpers but no bumpers with NO back. am I going crazy?

Hi all, I'm on an i337 running MD v1.2 nj4 , I was thinking about upgrading to the latest GoldenEye rom however, I can't use my phone without a volume booster like Viper4Android. I spend the majority of my day listening to music through my headphones, I can't live without it. I was hoping someone could tell me if Viper or any alternative app is working on GE, I'm seeing mixed reviews.
