Oke, this is my situation. Using stock 5.0.2 with two sims cards both with voice and data because I'm travelling frequently between two countries.

Problem I'm having is that this bug is draining my battery because my cell wont go to sleep (google service is keeping my cell awake).

What I found out is that I have to place the sim from the country i'm travelling in slot 1...... otherwise I get this exclamation mark on my wifi connection PLUS google services will keep my device awake when connected on wifi. The moment I switch slot 1 with the sim matching the country I'm in all is fine again.....

Found this exclamation mark problem in other threats but the solution is basically switching the sim card's all the time.

Hi,
I have a Note4 and purchased a dual sim adapter,
everything works fine but the default software is annoying.
I have to go through the menus each time to get to it etc and i tried adding a shortcut on the desktop but it always disappears after a day or 2.
I would like to find an app that i can make a quick swap button on the desktop and also program it to change from one to the other for half hour a day.

Does anyone know of such app, also i have rooted the phone too.

I just bought it at aliexpress for 149.99dollar. I payed 133.21euros. +23euro a keyboard with french letter stickers. (since they don't have it in French)

I have a tmo dual sim note3, and the GSM slot is super slow 2G. I have two old TMO GSM android and windows phones that both have 4G. Is it possible to swap them, I know how to solder but are they compatible?

I didn't find a conclusive answer about this in forums.

Hello techies!!!
Please help me factory reset my HTC desire 601 dual simy, here's what happened few months ago... I tried rooting my phone failed.. somehow I unlocked bootloader... that's all... now months later when I'm trying to factory reset my phone because I want to sell it off. But I can't reset I reach till the factory reset options using the hardware keys.. I press factory rest phone vibrates and same screen again.... not happening anything. ..attaching few snapshots... otherwise my phone is working fine.. please help mates...Cheers!!

I had purchased an I9502 through olx.in, last week.
Second hand.
Due to rare users, there is no dedicated thread on XDA for my device :(


Now, many questions arises.

1. I had updated to official lollipop (5.0.1), by SAMMOBILE's official ROM. After upgrading, my second SIM cant connect to network. So I revert back it to KK (4.4.2). Still the problem persists !!!!! . I couldn't use it as a dual sim phone :( Is PDA and CSC version is important while flashing? or we could install any PDA/CSC rom version on samsung phones? I don't know the original ROM so, I had downloaded all firmwares available at sammobile and tested. only 2 of them managed to register my SIM(first) on network. Is it a hardware issue? or by a wrong ROM ? anyway now my mobile admitted at hospital and specialized doctors have been studying his disease :p

Well Guys firstly my phone state:
1) Phone State:
*Volume down button doesn't work
*I can't boot into fastboot mode (may be because of above vol dwn button problem)
*My phone boots defaulty (and only) into safe mode
Hence, I can use only system apps.
2) WORK-AROUND :
I worked around this last week by rooting phone through Flashtool root section. Then I used adb to make all installed apps from playstore as system apps ( using adb shell su ..then shifting all apps to system/apps and then chmod to 644)
...and bingo all was fine untill I decided to unlock my boot-loader for future use...flashing custom OS etc ( I have no understanding of all these terms ..ROMs etc..Im quite a noob) :rolleyes:

ok so here's the start of my bad story :
I unlocked the bootloader using Flashtool....as my phone doesn't boot into fastboot mode by using hardware keys ..i used app "quikboot" which I had made a system app as said above....I booted in to "fastboot" mode using it ... then unlocked the bootloader ....and Then the phone went in bootloop .. I learn't that we need to flash stock ROM(for me ROM = mobile OS) after unlocking bootloader..so then I dowlaoded an older version of generic sony xperia M ftf file from xda...
Before flashing it I relocked the unlocked bootloader :eek:
I updated the OS to latest official. Due to the hardware problem the phone again boots into safe mode only for the newly flashed OS too

I tried to redo the "2) WORK-AROUND " section steps again:
When I try to " adb shell su " I get "su not found ..why does this happen ( I suspect because of phone not being rooted)..so I tried to rppt again using flashtoolas above..but this time while using towelroot phone reboots ( and hence the root fails) and hence I cant make those apps as system apps

So my phones up again but it locked, not rooted and I cant used any apps except the default Sony system apps(not even whatsapp gasp :( )

So I believe my only way out is to make installed apps system apps...for it that I somehow need to gain "adb shell su" working....Please suggest any alternative way around I may have ..
I really dont wanna change my phone ..its hardly been over a year only :rolleyes:

Hi just a quick question - why do we have dual recovery on Z3C? Why not just one?!
Sorry if that seems like a daft question, but it's bugging me for some reason :silly:
