Has anyone been sucessful in getting hotspot working on the att version of the G Flex 2.

Have one unlocked on T-Mobile and none of the usual suspects aka apps are working so was thinking there had to be a native mod.

Changing the value in databases with SQL Lite I can confirm doesn't work.

Thoughts?

Anyone know if the VZW Galaxy S6 works on AT&T LTE? Apparently, it works fine with voice, text, 3G, and HSPA data, but I was wondering if it would work on AT&T LTE.

The CDMA phone supports bands 2 / 4 / 5 / 13
The GSM phone supports bands 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 8 / 12 / 17 / 20 / 29 / 30

Since the Verizon version is cheaper, GSM unlocked and has less bloatware, I was just wondering if I can get LTE? Or should I just buy the more expensive AT&T version

Before I begin, I have already read through a lot of the guides but almost of all them are not updated enough for my case. If I am wrong please direct me to it.

I would like to restore AT&T stock rom on my phone which was previously converted to GPE Lollipop 5.1 (with root, bootloader unlocked and s-off).
Here's what I have already done.

• Restored MID and CID to 0P6B12000 and CWS__001 (for AT&T) respectively.

• Relocked the bootloader.

• Restoring from a nandroid (before going GPE) fails.

• Downloaded the most latest RUU file for AT&T model, and ran the process.

But RUU fails with error 155. And after reading online, any of the following could be cause of the problem.

1. Partition size difference in GPE and AT&T stock rom.

1. Difference in firmware version or may be HBOOT version.

1. GPE is lollipop 5.1 and I think AT&T's latest rom is 5.0.1. So may be this downgrade is causing the problem

The RUU file I was using: RUU_M8_UL_L50_SENSE60_ATT_MR_Cingula...7_signed_2.exe

I think my first step would be to flash some correct firmware to be able to successfully run RUU, but I don't know how which one. Plus, will downgrading firmware cause problems?
I would appreciate any help in resolving this problem. At minimum, I would like to be able to flash some stock rom with all the sense and AT&T stuff.

If you're on VZW, AT&T, or TMO, please post your Other.xml and/or Features.xml, un-modified prefered. If you did modify it please make note of it, also note what provider.
It's located in the system/csc folder.

Hey please help me, i m using this phone in oman under #Nawras network. Everything is fine, but only i cannot use 3g . Here sometime find the low signal of 4g and then direct throw me to gsm. And i discover that even im in hspa and hsdpa net, it will show the 4g icon in the statusbar. Pls help me about that. Many many best wishes to you all

I have a at&t lg optimus g pro and I have blisspop v3.1 installed with twrp and I wanted to know if anybody knows a way to flash the stock modem for the lg rom? Or if anybody can tell me if I can install madmacks modem with twrp because it says cwm in the file name. It would also be cool if anybody could suggest any kernels to flash for blisspop?

I have Note 1 and due for an upgrade with AT&T. I've repaired this Note 1 many times and changed a lot of faulty components. I have unfixable problems with GPS and power button sometimes (1/month) not working until full disassembly and a lot of cleaning (usually takes 2 days offline). I also have to go overseas for some time in June and wanted a new phone without problems and a better camera.

So here comes the Note Edge. I wanted to buy it but I need the root and don't want to get stuck for two years without it. I am looking for a phablet, so the Notes seem like a good candidate

So the question is: Is it worth to buy AT&T Note Edge now and wait for the root? Or should I hold out, wait until Note 5 comes out and risk having a broken phone overseas?

AT&T LG Optimus G Pro (LG e980), Android 4.4.2, Kernel 3.4.0, Build KOT491.E98020h,. History: bought stock phone with Android version 4.1.2.. At&t ota upgrade forced version 4.4.2. I rooted phone with toweroot. Problem: I'm going to unroot phone and install lollypop, then reroot. If I don't like android version 5, I'll unroot and flash v4.1.2. Then reroot. How can i prevent the at&t over the air from happening between the time i finish flashing 4.1.2 and when i reroot. At&t ota is persistent and immediate. THANX

I'm sporting a Galaxy S3 and I believe it's time for an upgrade. I've been considering the Note 4 and it looks like a great phone. I was wondering, however, which version I should get. I'm on AT&T and the price for the phone is 5. I looked around a bit and unlocked versions of this phone are about 0. I would get the benefit of mobile insurance, should I want it, from AT&T, and maybe some support with them if the unit is faulty for some reason. But I'm not sure if it's worth the price difference. Why are the prices so different? And what are the differences between the AT&T version and the unlocked version?

I have an ATT international unlocked version. Since i am out of AT T network i was not getting updates so i rooted my device and installed Android revolution HD on my device. After that for a month it was working fine.Suddenly some days back it got off. I am not able to switch it on. No signs of charging too.
I tried long pressing the power key with Holding Volume keys. But dint work.
And also tried the below procedure but no luck.

I had mistakenly deleted a stock app on my I317M phone I had recently got after had rooting it.
I have attempted to put the phone into recovery mode, wiping the phone back to default settings, apps, etc.
I then realized that factory resetting a rooted phone DOES NOT help.

I downloaded the stock firmware

I figured it was this one because "I317MVLUDNF3" matched with the numbers in the system settings.

Ever since I flashed that file onto my phone, I get stuck on the logo.
I can get into download mode on the phone, but cannot go into recovery mode and my phone doesn't start past the logo.
What do I do? Please help!

Hello, I am using an AT&T LG G2 (D800 of course) and after Rooting I'd like to install CM. I've installed custom ROMs before and usually have no trouble with them, but I can't seem to install TWRP on my phone.

I've installed AutoRec for my model from the playstore to install TWRP but it doesn't seem to work. According to the tutorial I just have to reboot after the process and then boot into recovery, however when I do so from an app I do not have a recovery installed, and when I try to do it via hardware booting it just goes to the factory reset screen. I understand that booting into recovery this way will always show this screen and that I'm supposed to just confirm everything, then it should boot into TWRP. However doing so simply resets my phone.

Anyone have this problem or some more specific steps in order to help me?

Woke up this morning with a notification for critical update, i have an unlocked at&t 1020 on simple mobile carrier in usa.

This are all steps that I have tried and nothing works:
1. Install twrp 2.7.0.2 succesfully, then viper. (no wifi)
2. flash ruu for att, install twrp 2.7.0.2 succesfully, the viper. (no wifi)
3. flash ruu for att, install twrp 2.8.6.0, twrp recovery won't load, stuck on screen

I've read in some threads that wifi issues are because of old firmware, but I installed latest rue and didn't solve anything, and for some reason twrp 2.6.8.0 which says is for all carriers won't work in my phone. Also tried installing ARHD rom and it doesn't work either. Is there any file I need to flash for wifi to work or what are the specific steps I need to follow for it to work correctly. I did this in another HTC M8 for Sprint and had no issues at all. I appreciate your help.

I haven't seen any root methods listed here for 5.0.

I'm still on 4.4 because I didn't want to lose system write or root. Has anyone been able to successfully root 5.0 with system write ability? What method did you use?

I've seen mentions of using Chain Fire but the articles are usually poorly written, so I don't trust them.

Is there a flashable (recovery friendly ) stock AT&T rom available ? Or ascending FOTA updates starting at "o" or "c" version? The download links for C to Y now host malware on the forum links.
