Hi Guys

We have a Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 (SGP521), currently installed with a nightly build of CyanogenMod12 Lollipop ROM.
Some functionality is not working well, so we would like to revert back to Sony Stock ROM, can someone guide us on the steps required?

We understand that the steps is similar to flashing the ROM into the device, but would be great if someone can confirm the steps, including where we might find stock Sony ROM. We've looked through some of the forum posts but some are quite old posts so just wondering if anything might have changed.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, Please help guys! I'm trying to revert my Fire TV to send it in for an RMA (wifi issues). I'm on latest prerooted custom (51.1.5.0 515030720) and have boot menu installed. I'm following this guide http://www.aftvnews.com/how-to-rever...tock-software/ to revert back to stock and get rid of boot menu by flashing stock software/recovery I followed everything on the guide but when I rebooted it said something about system update not successful? Here is what I have from my terminal window:

The stock recovery is from here http://www.aftvnews.com/software/ (51.1.3.0) and the stock software is 51.1.5.0_user_515030720. I also tried stock software 51.1.5.0_user_515020820

The exact error is: The system update was not successful. your Amazon Fire TV will restart in a few minutes and should resume normal operation.

Thanks!

Hey guys, I have an unlocked Nexus 9 and updating to 5.1 OTA isn't possible (as most of you probably already know). I have no idea what I am doing and only unlocked it because RootJunky had some automated program that basically did it for me. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to update manually...

My simple question is how do I revert back to a version (locked?) that will allow me to update via OTA and not have to deal with this going forward? Idiot-proof responses are most welcome.
