Greetings!

First of all, I am sorry if this is on the wrong section of the forum. Nevertheless i've tried few rooting applications which are stated to be compatible with this ME103K model, but with no results.. Also many fake sites trying to lure you to purchase something.

Is there anyone who could provide me information on how to root my ASUS ME103K tablet? Should I also try every rooting application available out there or is this useless? Can I verify if they are compatible without all the way installing and running them on the device? (Sorry don't know much about this stuff =)! )

I searched over and over could not find a solution...I downloaded towelroot.apk. it says "currently this phone is not supported"...then I downloaded framaroot.apk.it says "it seems your device is not vulnerable to exploit framaroot included." pls guyz if any one can help me with this issue.

I just my new ASUS ZENFONE 2 4GB RAM, After updating it to the new firmware, suddenly after 2 day it has started giving me an error Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped.

Did Wiping data/cache, Factory Reset due to this error, if i call someone network goes off and error pops up {Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped) and after that im unable to unlock my device as well.

PLEASE HELP to remove it.

I even rooted my new zenfone but still no luck.

I've been trying to root an Asus TF103C K010 with build number EDU_NA-3.2.36.44 without luck. Here are the approaches that I thought could work in theory, but didn't end up working:

1. Rooting via RootZenFone-1.4.6.4r.apk - This app rooting method works with builds that has the Asus Demo program. However, the EDU_NA build doesn't come with the Demo program, so this approach didn't work. I couldn't install the Asus Demo program onto the EDU_NA either.

2. I tried switching the build SKU from EDU_NA to WW via adb sideload of the WW firmware in Recovery mode (the tablet wouldn't allow loading from SD card in Recovery mode). However, I wasn't successful in that approach either. The tablet kept producing the following error:

"Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:end of footer from /tmp/update.zip not 0xFFFF (file exists)
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted."

As some posts alluded to, I tried to rename the firmware file from WW to EDU_NA to "trick" the tablet thinking that it's a EDU_NA update zip file. That didn't work either.

Anyone with success on rooting this build? Thanks!

With all the speculation on the Snapdragon 810 breathing fire and the Lg G4's 808 subjected to throttling (as evident in the Asus ZF2 Vs Lg G4 video from Lb s on YouTube) I hope that the statements made by the Asus bigwigs to switch to SD from Intel Atom are back tracked and even Intel should continue with the ZF2 as a prime example for its performance where others are quite simply failing to deliver for the sky high price being asked!

I have a Asus Memopad 7 ME172V model and the issue with the tablet is when using it after i turn it on sometimes i can get a minute or so then it just locks up solid . Then u cannot do anything with it. Except hold the power to turn it off. I have no idea why or how to fix this. The tablets been rooted and i tried the clear user data from asus with sdcard and i tried using a sd stock dump i downloaded on here to restore with but that didnt help either. Anyone???? i just want this tablet to work.

I have a G900F running Lollipop and I donwloaded some Asus ZenUI apps like Launcher, Notepad, SMS, Clock and others, but some of them don't start or force close, maybe because I'm missing the framework or something... So I was wondering if there is a way to port the whole rom on the S5 (or S4)

I rooted my android 4.4.2 version from zenfone root apk but after installing upgrade of android 5.0 lollipop phone went unroot again can you suggest me the way to rooting my phone now?

i had android 4.4.2 installed on my phone i used zenfoneroot to root it but when i upgraded my phone to android 5.0 lollipop it went unroot again ..... tried several ways but nothing worked......... any suggestions are most welcome
