For those who are getting battery drainage in CM12.1 or derived ROMs then you don't need to flash a custom kernel.
You just need to follow these steps to get Better Battery backup , By the way overnight drain ( 8 hrs ) was only 2%. It was almost like Stock kernel.



step 1:
Download KERNEL ADIUTOR from https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ladiutor&hl=en

step 2:
open and goto CPU tab

step 3:
There you see "CPU Governor" is already "Interactive" , if it is not then make it interactive.

Step 4:
Now there is another option "CPU Governor Tunables" Select this and fill these values given below :

above_hispeed_delay 20000
boost 0
bootpulse_duration 60000
go_hispeed_load 50
hispeed_frequency 998400
io_is_busy 0
min_sample_time 60000

Sampling_down_factor 0
sync_freq 0
target_loads 80
timer_rate 20000
timer_slack 80000
up_threshold_any_cpu_freq 0
up_threshold_any_cpu_load 0

Now goto CPU HOTPLUG and on the button "MPDecision"
Select I/O Scheduler for "ROW" if it is not default.
