I realised I haven't re-encrypted my Titan yet since wiping it to correct some issues but when I tried, it just reboots. I've run into this issue before, which is caused by having a custom recovery (in my case TWRP) installed as Android uses the stock recovery to do the encryption. I don't particularly want to mess around flashing back the stock recovery and then back to TWRP, so is there a way to encrypt the phone without doing that, perhaps using ADB?

@sd_shadow, I rooted my droid razr T912 using the iRoot method. I have bootstrap 3.72 installed and I had made a back up of the image prior to installing CM 11. I'm running into errors installing anything on my razr now. I tried to go back to my old image copy but I erased system along with dalvic, data so now it won't boot up. I still have access to bootstrap, can you help me please? Do I need to restore the factory image or since I have bootstrap is there a way to get a new image on without the system files?

I have trying to install viper4android on my q1010i from past 2 months and have tried every mentioned thing on the vipers forum as well as other threads.

The thing is its showing error- "Driver installation failed, the busybox found on your device doesn't work. this usually means you installed the wrong or broken busybox, V4A needs stericson busybox to work. If you are sure about having installed the proper busybox, then please confirm your device has been properly rooted."

Things i have tried

- Installing both busybox(free from playstore as well as pro)
- Tried unrooting and rerooting the device
- Flashed different versions of supersu
- Tried different versions of V4A
- Tried flashed different versions of V4A

Please help me!!:(...The thing is V4A works with jb but not working with kk.

But my phone is freezing and overheating plus when i enter my Pin code the Sim card is still not working and i hope i get a help ASAP and btw i have a moroccan operator so in case it has a relation with Radio stuff . I'm testing CM 12.1 and came from the official Kitkat rom. I had to flash CWM via fastboot (thread here) in order to install CM 12.1. It worked, but I was stuck with that Cyanogen recovery that comes with CM 12.1. I tried flashing CWM and TWRP, but my phone went into a boot loop. I was forced to reflash 12.1. I also tried installing a newer version of TWRP via XZRecovery, but it got stuck and never installed anything. Here are my problems:

• Can't make nandroid backups


• Unable to flash Xposed zip for Lollipop 5.1

Is it possible to run CM 12.1 and have a regular recovery like CWM/TWRP?
