With a completely stock ROM, is there a way to setup an Exchange account without having to enter a password or entering a dud password? Obviously the device isn't going to sync or download e-mails etc. until the correct password is put in.

I currently installed safestrap my s4 active on AT&T SGH-I537 and baseband version is I537UCUCNH3 and safestrap version i used is http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=336. I tried to install CM 12 nightlies on it but it failed. What are other good roms that I can install and will normal AT&T s4 roms work on the active ?

I am new to this forum and to custom flashing in general, so please bear with me.
I have recently acquired a Galaxy S4 Active GT-i9295 that at previously been upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop (prior to my ownership).
The phone currently will go to the Samsung splash screen and then I get a screen that says
"Encryption failed - Unable to complete encryption because of interruption. Perform factory data reset (erasing all of your data) before use. After resetting, try encrypting device again" and then a "reset device" button which, when pressed does nothing.
The phone allows me to power it down, but will not allow me into the factory reset menu (home+volume up+power). It does, however let me into the download mode (volume down + power).

From there I attempted to recover to the factory firmwear using Odin 3.07 and CWM-Recovery-gt-i9295_v1-2.tar.md5. Odin gives me the blue light when recognizing the phone, but when I attempted to flash it, it failed.
next I tried to flash it with a PIT file to re-partition it (I9295.pit) and the re-partition failed.

I am a bit stuck here. I have seen fixes here that suggest clearing the cache, but since I can not enter the main recovery menu, I am at a complete loss. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a bit curious, as a non-enterprise user do I need Knox protection enabled? What are the benefits(if any) and what could be the downside in terns of battery and performance after enabling it in Smart Manager?

I was wondering if the cameras on the Galaxy S4 Active with LTE-A ( 13mp) and the Galaxy S4 Active ( 8mp) were interchangeable .
