I have been unable to flash firmware to my Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505G) after unlocking the bootloader, the unlock causing a very complicated (and unknown) mess-up to my system. I honestly don't know how it happened as I followed a guide step by step. Every time I boot into Download Mode and try to flash the firmware, Odin fails when trying to write and my phone always says WRITE PROTECTION: Enable in the corner of the screen. How do I disable write protection?

What about skinomi or zagg invisibleshield or spigen HDX?

Back when the turbo was originally rooted many users stated that they were able to get temporary write protection off. How could I do this? And I don't care if it makes my device unstable.

Just a bit curious, as a non-enterprise user do I need Knox protection enabled? What are the benefits(if any) and what could be the downside in terns of battery and performance after enabling it in Smart Manager?
