My nexus 5 died a few weeks ago. Today I got a used motherboard to replace the broken one. Phone went on but still had personal files and a password from the previous owner (which had a cracked screen so he couldn't delete his files I guess). I did a factory reset via the recovery mode. Booted the phone up, logged in with my google account and selected the app backup thingy. So I get into the homescreen but my apps are not installing and I get a message my storage is full and it can't install apps and sync etc.
What's wrong? Did the factory reset fail to delete the files from the previous owner and how can I fix this?

Yes, I returned my N910C and decided not to buy this MAGNIFICENT phone again. I am sick and tired of finding the right screen protectors that will not have HALO. I am also tired of the scratches on the bezel that seems to be getting worse every time I remove the case. I am also tired of finding the sweet spot when I put the phone on the Qi charger because I am using a third party Qi receiver that is not centered on the back of the phone.

I kept a blind eye on the 5.0.1 lag (previous apps) and worse battery performance than 4.4.4 hoping Samsung will immediately push updates as this is still a top of the line phone/phablet, but it seems like they are don't give a damn and are focusing on the S6 and S6 Edge, and there is another news that the iPhone 6s is coming so Samsung is preparing for the Note 5. That hit the final nail in the coffin for me...

I have wasted a lot for buying and trying different tempered glass and cases that will fit with the OEM Qi charger

I am now looking at the older Note 3 and other alternatives, but I am not in a rush... I might wait and see what the Note 5 brings on the table.

I have a new Tab S 10.5 running stock firmware. It's not on a carrier and is just the wifi model, SM-T800 running the latest version available, 5.0.2.

Many moons ago, I had an early android device where I could get root privileges that didn't alter the OS or setup, but instead simply granted the user the ability to elevate their privileges to superuser status. Is this still a possibility or must a new image from a ROM be used?

Also, I was told that the non-carrier devices do not have a locked bootloader. True?

The watch prompted me - whole thing took less 5 minutes. Can't find any proof (or even suggestion) that wifi is available. The first notification was "Swipe to see what's new" ... and there was only 1 page of new to swipe through.

Hey all. So, I'm a noob with tablets and basically got this for 2 things: universal remote and PS4 remote play. I already found a great universal remote app(smart remote) and it controls everything with ir I threw at it. Does anybody have any tips or tricks that make the ps4 more tablet friendly? TIA

Last time I did it I ruined an M8. This time I'd like to get all my ducks in a row. Have M8 with 4.4.4, sense6, 3.42.502.1. I want to get the latest ARHD, the H/K sound mod, and the additional mod with the flashlight and other things. Can't remember the name. It's on my workstation. Downloaded it last night. I have the adb mini kit folder on my laptop(sorry, winging it a little here, terminologywise) I'll get more specific if someone chimes in with a little guidance. I was getting superb assistance from Earlymon a short time ago, but he's apparently gotten too busy to help me on final approach. Really would like to wrap it up but not until I have the right information. Thanks in advance! Hope to hear from a seasoned pro soon.

I dont want a bumper case with a clear back, or some bumper that has a molded translucent back. I just want a TPU bumper and thats it. even Metal only but really just TPU.

I have the SLickwrap natural series Leather back with the new back replacement as well and still its too thick and I hate that I can see the edge of the leather sticking up. Such a waste of money and time remocing my OEM back just to have the same ugly edge showing.

I had a spigion case with the clear back and I was able to remove the clear part leaving just the rubber surround but the rubber part was too loose as it depending on the back piece for rigidity.

Looking on amazon and all I see are clear back bumpers but no bumpers with NO back. am I going crazy?
