ROM

Hi guys, I would like to share "my" Sense 5 ROM. I am not a developer (if I was I wouldn't upload old & boring Sense 5 ^^), so it's way too far from perfect. I compiled kernel from HTC 4.18.401.4 crc source only with a few modifications (sweep2wake, doubletap2wake & fast charge and init.d support) - I used AOSP toolchain 4.6 -O2. It is ONLY for HTC ONE X International.

Installation:
MANDATORY - do a full wipe (format Cache, Data, System; Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache via Custom recovery)
flash ROM zip file from recovery
flash boot.img in fastboot

Additional info:
If you want Flash Player back, download and install it from attachment. If you want sqlite3 or zipalign, download from attachment and install via recovery.

If you don't want to install all keyboard languages, just edit ROM zip with 7zip, navigate to /system/app/ and delete corresponding languages (CIMEXT9.apk - chinese & IMEXT9XXXX.apk - those are up to you).

Hey,

im looking for a fast and light rom for the wildfire s.

The build purpose should be "speed - performance". I don't attach any importance to look and style.

The android version should be above 2.1 - as the main reason running this device is whatsapp/(sms) communication.

I don't need any functions like gps. Everything that's makes the rom slow and "heavy" and is not needed for basic communication can be omitted.

Though i wouldn't complain about additional functions if they don't impact system performance.

Right now im running an unofficial cyanogenmod build with Android 4.1.2. I'm thankful for this mod and really appreciate the effort.

I'know the hardware is limited.


Is there anything "fast"? Do you have a recommendation for me?

I know there is many article out there saying is OK to charge overnight as your phone is smart enough to prevent overcharge. But since this is a new adaptive fast charge charger, I thought it might have a different story. So guys, is it ok to charge overnight using the given adaptive fast charge charger? Thanks

Hello guys, so finally i got the Galaxy s6 edge and i love it. awhile ago i have developed an application which is similar to Toolbox by samsung, but with Fast Access you can add infinite apps and apply themes and more advanced options, i have just yesterday released a Demo version of the application and added Mini-Size for the icons to use it within the edge of the screen, and its best if you use it with the Screen Edges option which will keep Fast Access always on one of the edges sides. you could give it try and help me improve it more on the edge.

By battery is draining like anything and i doubt if it will last 6hrs. also, fast charge isn't working. for the first couple of charges, it worked and then it started taking 12 mins to charge one percent!

Hi

I have witnessed that my fingerprint scanner gets worse and worse. When I first got the phone, one fingerprint was enough to unlock the phone, now I have the same thumb on it 4 times to increase the accurate and it still fails often.

I tried clean my fingerprint scanner and under light, I could see it's full of scratches. The screen itself don't have a single scratch, so the home button glass/plastic looks pretty cheap, as it's tons of small scratches all over, even tho my phone is always alone in my pocket and never lying face down on the table.

Anyone else having this issue and could it be the reason, that a lot of people complain about the fingerprint scanner?
