i am having samsung s5 g900h, i updated it to lollipop few months back n now i want to downgrade it to kitkat, so i want to know is it safe to downgrade? any problems after downgrading? and what about knox it is 0x0 now will it get affected?
please give me procedure for downgrading and method to root it on kitkat (towelroot will work on kk?)

I've got an N910C with Lollipop ( I did a factory reset after upgrading and cleared cache) . It randomly decides to reboot, and will keep doing so. After a reboot, I can use it for about a minute till it reboots again. Booting into safe mode fixes it temporarily and it stays fine after safe mode, a regular reboot doesn't help.

I'd prefer not to factory reset, and would like to find the cause (app/sd card? Sandisk 8GB btw)

You know those site where you can download paid apps free in all form? Are those apps safe? Do they have viruses?

I dont give a damn about KNOW Void Warranty. My warranty is voided (0x1) and I dont really miss it, or try to reset it. I just want to remove some junkware from my phone.

I read in the GPE thread that it uses stock kernel, but I'm not confident enough because I can't find any way to directly compare that statement with what's currently being used. I'm using flashfire rather than a recovery so I am trying to avoid soft bricking. Any help would be appreciated.

I am happy that I could remove Firefly with Titanium Backup.
The app started randomly, in my pocket (I presume the camera button got pressed against My pocket), and I never really used it anyway.
I would like to know what does Whisperlink and if it is safe to remove.

I'm trying to unroot in order to get the lollipop OTA update to work, but could only find the 4.4.2 firmware and not the original 4.3.

If an application can be safely frozen, does that mean it can be safely uninstalled as well?


EDIT: More specifically, if I can freeze an app and reboot without bricking, can I uninstall that same app and reboot without bricking?

Since WhatsApp has been banning users who use 3rd party apps, is Disa still safe to use? I haven't heard it mentioned frequently when it comes to users being banned, and I find it super convenient. so I'm hoping its still fine to use.
