I might not be the first one to ask this,
but how do you get out of the Damn Download mode ? :/

I rooted my phone a few months ago and everything was fine. But recently I was prompted to install to 5.0 Lollipop update. I tried and it failed. After some googling I thought it was the fact that I'm rooted. So I unrooted it and now no matter what I do with ODIN it fails.

I've tried:

Changing my kernel. I tried two different kernels, both failed.

Installing Lollipop through 3 different methods. They all failed. (The OTA update, using ODIN, and through recovery mode using my SD card)

Basically ODIN always fails, and any other one-click root method fails as well. (Towelroot, Kingo App, MobileGo Wondershare)

Backstory: The only thing I can think of causing this much trouble is the fact that when I rooted my phone I had to use an old kernel. Everything was failing so I had to roll back my kernel in order to root. I did that. And then my WiFi stopped working. So I changed my kernel back to the original one. I don't know if this would do anything but figured it was worth mentioning.

The goal is to get the 5.0 update installed on my phone. I will settle for just re rooting my phone though.

I have no issues whatsoever with my eureka even after upgrading to cyanogen 12. However have 2 issues before and after upgradation as well.
1. When I connect my pendrive through otg adapter, the phone restarts and hence am unable to use pendrive with otg.
2. My Bluetooth headset ( Make Syska ) which was working fine with my Moto G, is not getting recognised at all. I tried a couple of other bluetooh head sets but without any success.

Please help me resolve these 2 issues.

Hi, Please help guys! I'm trying to revert my Fire TV to send it in for an RMA (wifi issues). I'm on latest prerooted custom (51.1.5.0 515030720) and have boot menu installed. I'm following this guide http://www.aftvnews.com/how-to-rever...tock-software/ to revert back to stock and get rid of boot menu by flashing stock software/recovery I followed everything on the guide but when I rebooted it said something about system update not successful? Here is what I have from my terminal window:

The stock recovery is from here http://www.aftvnews.com/software/ (51.1.3.0) and the stock software is 51.1.5.0_user_515030720. I also tried stock software 51.1.5.0_user_515020820

The exact error is: The system update was not successful. your Amazon Fire TV will restart in a few minutes and should resume normal operation.

Thanks!

Hi,
I have a bit silly question..
I would like to know if that thing is possible..
I'm a member of GetTaxi service (You can order with them Taxi throught the App they are avaliable in many countries such as USA,Russia,Israel..)
Today I got a message (Push message) Saying that I can get 30$ free,When I clicked it,App got opened and a message was saying :
"Coupon added! What a lucky day! You just got 30$ for free ride exp 1/6"
Okay so my question is simple..
Only when I clicked on the push message I got the money which mean when I clicked the push message until when the message appeared the application automatcally added a promo code into my account,Is it possible to find what was that code so I can share it with friends for example? (That's not unique code for sure)
My device is rooted and I would like to know if there is a way maybe to get history of what the application did and by that to get the promo code that it entered on my account.
Hope you get correctly what I'm saying,
Thanks.

Okay so I upgraded to lollipop OC3 using keep root method then flashed this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...t-1-0-t3092479) with flashfire and now I'm getting "System software not authorized by ATT has been found on your phone." Any way I can get this rom up and running?

Keeps saying my phone is up to date...I havent got the new ota though.

Do I need my sim in for att to let my phone have the update? I tried going back to stock with odin, but then put my sim in another phone to use. So the gs6 edge is only wifi.

this is the only reason I restored to stock, to grab the ota, now its saying my phone is already up to date.

any help would be appreciated...thanks

I was wondering if there was a way to install xposed on my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 running a rooted version of lollipop or is it not possible due to the locked bootloader?
Thanks for any help,
Pettyfan45

a stock android ROM (recommendations?)?

I've searched, but not found anything that can handily take me from having a rooted 14.3.2.6 HDx 8.9 (Apollo, right?) to a ROM. There's so much confusion about downgrading to an earlier version (for what?), having/not having safestrap, having TWRP, etc.

Anyone got a place where I can simply follow a 1-2-3 guide to go from root to ROM? Thanks!

Getting the M9 today like the title says and I wanted to know if there is anything that I should do once I get it? (Aside from disabling all Verizon bloat of course)
