Hello. After I installed this certificate (lrz.de/services/netz/mobil/vpn/anyconnect/rootcert.crt) I am no longer able to use knock code as a screen lock method. I found out that the name of the certificate is Deutsche Telekom Root CA 2 and disabled it from the trusted credentials menu, but I am still not able to select knock code in the lock screen -> select lock; the options Swipe and Knock Code are white and cannot be selected (It says disabled by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage)
Any help would be much appreciated

This Has been confirmed to work on VzTab May not work when lolipop comes. So i found this on accident and tryed these two methods together to get the end desired result. Root Access! The first thing to adress is if your using windows 7 or 8 its a bitc# to get adb to recognize that your devices is connected. So if this becomes a problem i can find the link i used to address it. So you will download all the required files that go along with this 1st method contained here.

Along with the lg drivers youll need the tablet to install the verizon software upgrade assistant too.
Fallow all of the processes until you reach the download mode. I could not figure out how to manually push buttons to make it into download mode so use this next link and run all the procedures till its in download mode.

Now you have the desired screen fallow the rest of the instructions from the first tut. Then press and hold power and volume buttons to reset. Since you cant take battery out or command it to reset. The Downloader will indicate 0% still so dont think it failed if it doesnt say 100%.

I have found new rooting method on Chinese web. What do you think about it?

There is another tutorial for custom recovery:

Ive been so sick of how poorly LG handles software heat management that I decided to create a portable yet practical fan heatsink case for my G3. At the time I didn't want to load any custom ROMs and then mess with the Kernal in order to solve the overheating throating issues we all face with the Stock G3 at some point.

Supplies = Aluminium Foil, Double sided tape, 40mm fan

Heres how I did it with spending less than :
G3 Thermal Zones

Take a look at the red areas in the picture above, These are the areas (that I believe) are where most of the G3s heat is accumulated.

-I took at least 5 sheets of paper size aluminium foil and I folded and compressed them into a poor man's heatsink about the size of those red areas in the picture.
- After that I was able to snap on the normal backcover with the help of some double sided tape
- Then I put some thermal compound (optional) onto the back cover near the red areas
- Applied 2-3 layers of aluminium foil on top of the thermal compound (or double sided tape)
-Stuck the 40mm on the back cover.

Done, the fan never gets in the way and allows my temps to remain a tad lower.

Let me know if anyone found this interesting so ill post some pics.

Hello i have a tablet which is unknown brand (Praktica 7.3). It was brick and now i founded a firmware finally but i dunno how can i install this firmware. Can you tell me how can i install this firmware.

'ello mates!
I was reading the whole process of unlocking the bootloader, installing custom recovery, then rooting but unfortunately I didn't want to wipe the internal data storage in the process. Is there a way to get it rooted without wiping the phone?

Thanks in advance! :)
