Working 6 months with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (910F), 5 Years with Samsung

I am not a regular user / buyer. I have many smartphones and when I like a brand, i am buying everything i can from the same brand.
Until 5 years ago, I was working only with HTC. I bought 8 HTC smartphones.
And then I discovered Samsung.
From then, I bought 10 Samsung smartphones, 3 Samsung Smart TVs and more.
But my passion to Samsung started to crack, and all because of my Note 4 issues.
When I received the Note 4, it was amazing - excellent battery life, everything worked perfect.
And then came updates...
After the first update, the Note 4 started to have bluetooth issues - I need to make restart twice a day in order to work with my bluetooth headsets (even with Samsung headsets).
With more updates, the battery life dropped dramatically. After the Lollipop update, the battery is dropping 3-5% per hour, without using it. Android OS and bluetooth dropped the most.
Dont tell me to make hard reset - I made it twice.
Its time to leave Samsung and work with a company that can give me what Samsung gave me until two years ago.
Samsung will need to convince me that it improved before I will return.

I installed flashify, whenever I open it, it force closes. Then I installed many icon packs. They closed too. (App has stopped working) error.....
Some other apps which I need are also giving this error like fleksy keyboard etc. Please tell me a way to fix this issue.
I have reinstalled rom in my phone with SP Flash Tool. It really sucks :3

I've made a brand new 14.5.A.0.270. It's rooted, with recovery and flushable.

I've did a dirty flash on 242 and everything is working. Just remember that the first boot taaaaaaakes loooooooooooong tiiiiiiiiimeeeeee.

For security reasons take a backup before flashing.

I'm not responsible for any data loss or something else. Flash it on your own risk.

Hi all. I bought my Evo 3D phone from someone and the wifi is not working. Trying to turn it on just results in "Error". Apparently this is rooted and/or has custom firmware. The software is NegaLite BluROM with android 4.0.3. I was wondering if anyone could help a root/cfw newbie with step by step instructions on how to get wifi working again. My google research showed something about a Mobster ROM being the best firmware, but have no idea about anything.

I have rooted my phone successfully. But after that its USB function is not working but getting charged when connected with PC.
pls help me. Without USB support, i cant upgrade my Magnus ROM.

So I just unlocked the bootloader on my L70 and installed a recovery, Been searching all around for
a lollipop rom... I have found lots of lollipop roms but all of them have a non working useless camera.

Even the kitkat based custom roms have the non working camera, So I went back to stock L70 rom.

So... Is there any rom out there for the LG L70 D320n F8 that actually has a full working camera? That's
my only concern really... I can live with any other problem with any custom rom for the phone so long
as the camera works....

PD: I mean the REAR CAMERA not the front camera.

You've probably heard this song and dance before, but my phone only charges if I hold the connector a little to the left of the port of the phone. This is a phone issue, I've tried like 5 cables. I am rooted so I'm worried att will just turn me away if I go to a repair place. I am s-on. I'm hoping maybe this is something I can fix myself. Any ideas?
Secondly, today I noticed that my mobile data only works for browsing google. Only google's web results show up. If I click on a link from there, it won't work. Any other app does not work. I've tried a soft reset and rebooting several times, and no I don't have any proxies enabled. If anyone has the stock lollipop build.prop, I'd really appreciate that. Very strange issue that I've never heard of. Running elementalx kernel and stock rom.

I have an unlocked at&t note 4 being used on t-mobile. I can not send or receive pictures. I used the common apn settings t-mobile. Am I missing anything?

Someone knows how to fix this? By the way I'm on Tekxodus v2.9

Simple question/dilemma I have: I have recently done a factory reset on my phone for other software glitches and just re-rooted my phone with the ping pong root. And while going through all my settings to customize the phone to my liking I ran into an issue with being able to enable call waiting on my settings. There's really nothing more to it, in the settings options I click the button and it does nothing, no errors, nothing. I feel dumb asking this, but I can't figure it out, I have no apps disabled at this point.

Hello. I have a T-mobile Galaxy S 5. Recently I tried CyanogenMod 12.1 and several derivatives (such as Resurrection Mix). All share the same problem: during a call, if I plug in a earpiece without a microphone, the microphone in the phone will not work. The other side can't hear me. I can hear the other side though. If I instead plug in a earpiece with microphone (like the one from the phone), everything works. Or if I turn the speaker on from the phone app, the phone's microphone also works.

I remember when I was using the Samsung TouchWiz there is no such problem. Is this a known issue of CyanogenMod? Is there any ticket tracking this issue? Is there simple way to fix?

Does anyone know of a working tether mod for the ATT S6 Edge?

I'm on a touchwiz based rom and I've always been able to send and receive MMS since my wifi is always on when I'm at home. However last night I received a picture and it didn't download. I tried sending one to myself and it kept spinning for a while and eventually failed. I do have LTE and I'm only able to send and receive MMS when wifi is off and data is on.
I clean flashed another TW based rom and tried sending one right after it booted and it didn't work. I'm not sure what's going on and Sprint chat person wasn't able to help either. What could be the problem? I'm using the stock messaging app btw. Thanks!

Hi, I recently attempted to replace the screen on my Moto G 2014, and now the touch doesn't work. The first replacement didn't work so I ordered another one, but that one doesn't work either.
Am I missing something? I followed the instructions on YouTube to the dot and still no touch response.

Its does not show any GSM Sim card Networks.
It show CDMA Network but I unable to run EVDO Data as it does not support Manual Apn configuration .How to save maual apn on this to run cdma data.

Please help in running CDMA/GSM with data.

Everytime i install a custom rom my hardware buttons on S3 Mini are not working,with CM12.1,OmniRom or SlimLP,all 3 the same problem,i have to use on screen buttons to get the phone work...Can you please help me with a fix?

my Memo Pad 7 turned black. First I thought it is the battery, though I figured out that I still can make screenshots with Power + Volume Buttons (I hear the sound).
Then if I go to a dark room I can see lights shining inside the tablet. I think this is the backlight?

What I did so far: pressing all button in all combinations from 10sec to 5min. I opened the Tablet and disconnected and reconnected the cables for battery and the big flat one.

What can be wrong? What could I try more?:confused:

Hello, I have purchased the Note 4 in the US (unlocked) and I am using it in Europe in the Czech Republic. There was not a single update since I purchased the phone (November 2014) while I have read several times Note 4 received some kind of an update. Also, the phone received Android 5 in all of the US and the Czech Republic already (at least I have read that now on Sammobile) so I am wondering - did I block the device´s ability to receive any updates by using it in a different country? Does anyone have similar experience with this or other high end phone?

I did exactly the same thing with the Galaxy S4 two years ago and it received several updates right after purchase and also during the following two years. Now Note 4 which is also a high end device (though more niché) and not a single update yet. As of 18th May 2015, the device says the latest updates were installed and the device status is "official".

I prefer using my device the official way so I didn´t really care about flashing but if I have to use a firmware that was never updated since the phone release, I will flash it (as a last resort).

PS.: Sorry about posting this if it does not belong here. Google is not that powerful yet to redirect me correctly and I didn´t quickly find any info about what to post on this forum. It is likely my post belongs somewhere else but it would take hours of research to find out where, so sorry and thank you so much for your time.
