My system is now KK 4.4.2 with unlocked bootloader
I download CM12 (nightly) from download.cyanogenmod.com - XT925 KK bootloader
I intended to install CM12.zip via Phil Touch recovery but it failed and this message appeared:

(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Then I used TWRP recovery instead of CWM.
The installation was successful, but in a short time (faster than installing gapps)
I made the phone rebooted.
When the system was on, it showed an error dialogue and self-rebooted to boot animation graphics immediately. Then, it became an endless loop
I had to reflash stock KK system via RSD
What happenned to my XT925????

hi guys, it is the first post for me in this forum
since I'm a Hong Konger, i apologize for my bad english
i have flashed the slim rom through cwm recovery to my xperia z2
after flashing the rom, it seems having trhe sound issues
as a result, i was going to wipe it and restore my backup in cwm
however, when entering the recovery, the screen has gone black and the led turns into orange color
i have tried to flash the recovery again through adb in my computer
it didn't work out, after i typed "fastboot flash boot boot.img",
a command of "waiting for device" popped out
but i am quite sure the adb driver is installed
please are there any solution for reflashing the recovery in my phone?
i would appreciate a lot if somebody can help me out

I need some serious professional help on this one. And I mean if you think you know the answer to this, you are 98% going to be wrong. Ok I have some malware installing shortcuts on my homescreen. The shortcuts used to be able to delete just by long pressing and dragging them off screen. Now they dont delete anymore. If I attempt to delete a spam shortcut, there will be a screen hiccup, and the launcher will restart itself, and still the shortcut is still there.

The location of the malware is imbedded in the stock launcher ( GO FIGURE ) . I now have root , but so far I have only been able to stop the push notifications, but not the installing of shortcuts.

Ive tried

1. Ad network detector
2. Airpush detector
3. Add ons detector
4. Rooting and setting the launcher to read only permissions! THIS SHOULD HAVE WORKED!!! BUT IT DIDNT . We live in a crappy world.

All the above methods have failed. Is there a way to find the offending icon by using root browser and just deleting the damn thing? Where would such icons exist in the folder structure? Thanks for accepting the challenge!

I have a secured Wi-Fi network using WPA+PSK and WPA2+PSK (802.11g as it's written in my AccessPoint config).
Passphrase is quite complex: 17 characters only letters (both small and caps, only ASCII characters) and numbers. 17 is smaller than 63 (max-len).
Also I'm using MAC filter, configured to allow only registered MAC addresses.
I've register phone MAC address both in AccessPoint MAC filter and on my Linux server (DHCP config, hosts, fixed ARP table). It doesn't connect. No information connected to my phone (MAC address, IP or anything else in my DHCP server records in SysLog). Only a few info in my AccessPoint logs. There, if another device connected, there were two lines: "Station authenticated" followed by "Station associated", but in phone's case, these two lines were "Station authenticated" followed by "Station deauthenticated" (gap between these two lines on other device is less 1 second, but for my phone is more seconds, usualy more than 10 s).
If I force a netbook Wi-Fi card to have same MAC as my phone and with my phone Wi-Fi turned off, my netbook connects immediately, so the only cause I've think that remains was my phone cannot communicate with my AccessPoint.
Have anyone observed same sitiation ? Have someone any solution to try ?

I am trying to edit my boot animation but i cant make it happen..

first of all i tryed an app called ''Boot animation'' since i rooted my phone this seems to me the easiest way. i was looking for a funny animation i liked installed it, but when i reboot my phone it is still the standard huawei boot.

After some struggling i tried to do it an other way. i tried to search for ''Bootanimation.zip'' But i cant find it.. i looked in all places. data/local, system/media.... etc

The only thing i can find in system/media is: chargeranimation.zip
as last try i searched in my root map for: bootanimation.zip.

But still didn't find anything...

Someone can help me? :)

btw, im running on b609 emui 3.0

Hey guys, so I just got my new LG G3 yesterday (switching from a Nexus 5), and as you may have guessed, I'm annoyed with LG's skin, lt's just too laggy and slows the phone down even if it has better specs than my previous Nexus 5. So of course, I tried rooting the phone using the LG One Click Root tool, everything goes so well (following a video on youtube), but then when the phone finishes rebooting for the last time, I just can't locate SuperSu and the phone isn't rooted, even if the tool shows that SuperSu was successfully installed.

Do you have any idea about this? Please help.

checking if anyone else has this problem and knows how to at least work around it? I suspect it is not really specific to HTC M9 but rather something general Android (as I had similar issue before with Sony Z2).

The problem is - from time to time (usually after using for while) I am unable to turn off Portable Wi-Fi hotspot. It cannot be disabled from pull-down quick-menu or from settings itself, nothing happens at all it just keeps running. I have tried turning Airplane mode on and off, that doesn't make any difference, only restart helps.

It is a new phone with Vodafone Australia (software number 1.32.710.16), Android 5.0.2, HTC Sense 7.0.

Hi all, i am having a big trouble about the camera.
So i was using the official CM12, but since recently the camera keep FC or it kept saying can't connect to camera,
i decided to change to the other ROM. However, when i changed to Titan Prime 1.1, i can open the camera ONCE. After that same issue happen!!
it is not only the camera, also the screenshot function is not working! It kept saying due to limited storage the screenshot couldn't be taken
So i tried the following methods:
1. Force stop camera app, clean cache+data, reboot => didn't work
2. Install the CameraFiles-Signed.zip => didn't work
3. Wipe the system, data, cache and davik cache and install different versions of CM or Titan Prime 1.1 =>didn't work
Does anyone has the problem or know how to solve this??
