[Tweaks] Enable Downloads2SD On Lollipop & solve SD Card Write Problem On Lollipop topic

Hi Guys, Today I'm gonna show you the way to give permissions to save Downloaded Files on SD Card. As You Guys Know In some MTK Lollipop phone, users can't download / Move Anything on sd card. Because Google Has restricted some permissions. But There Is Still a way to do it. Let's Check It Out
To Do This You Need
1) Rooted Phone
2) Nandroid Backup (Incase You Brick Your Device)
Okay Let's Start
1. First Grab Some Popcorn :D
2.install Root Explorer ( As It's A Paid App, I'll Not Provide The Download Link)
3.open it.
4.go to the following folder
root>system>etc>permission
5.find the platform.xml file...
6.open it with text editor.
7.find the following line
name="android.permission.WRITE
_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_r" />
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
</permission>
8.add this extra line
<group gid="media_rw" />
9.like this
name="android.permission.WRITE
_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_r" />
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
<group gid="media_rw" />
</permission>
10.save it and take the platform.xml.bak
to your sdcard
11.reboot and enjoy...

  1. I do accept as true with all the concepts you have introduced for your
    post. They're very convincing and can definitely work. Still,
    the posts are too short for beginners. May just you please prolong them a bit from next time?
    Thank you for the post.
