Hey all,
I'm currently following this guide but im stuck using the RUU tool. (I'm using post #3 but im not sure if i should, this guide isn't too well written IMO, im still unsure which one i should be following)
I'm currently on step 2: run RUU.exe but the file cannot find my HTC one, I am getting the "ruu 170 usb connection error" message. I can thoroughly assure you it IS plugged into my PC, it is on, my PC can read and access the phone on multiple USB ports, it is charged.
ive tried having it in Hboot, fastboot, recovery, normal android, safeboot? but the RUU just cant find it. im unsure if it is the correct file to be honest, i found that guide a little unhelpful but i think i managed to match my MID and my CID to the files. i downladed and tried two but neither RUU can find my phone
any help?
