[Q] No USIM card/Roaming Indicator off issue? topic

I installed a new rom today, re-rooted and installed CloudyG2 and everything went great, until I noticed my phone saying on the lockscreen "roaming indicator off" I then noticed that I can't send texts, was trying to text a friend on the default messaging app and gave me a "no usim card" popup. I tried to update my prl and all that stuff, but apparently CloudyG2 disabled or got rid of the original update area that stock LG G2 had where you could update the firmware, prl, etc. I can still make calls and I tried Textra and I can send and receive texts, just with the default messaging app I can't it appears. I'm just confused why this happened and if there's a fix for it?
