[Q] Installing Nook Color tools on Nook simple touch topic

Hello there,
Recently I was asking how to install 3rd party apps on a nook simple touch:

An user from the forums explained me how to do it, but I am still having one problem- I cannot copy the NookColorTools_0.2.apk application to my nook /settings/app/ folder, as it is mounted as read only. I tried sending through adb as well as copying from the sd card. I Also tried remounting as user ИΘΘK¡€ suggested:

Command didnt return any errors but the system was still read only.
I would really aprichiate all help in this manner!
