I am using the LS980 unlocked with the following details
SW VERSION: 4.4.2
BASEBAND VERSION: M8974A-AAAANAZM-2.0.20046
KERNEL:3.4.0
BUILD: KOT49I.LS980ZVE
SOFTWARE VERSION: LS980ZVE
When I purchased the phone it came without SuperUser installed
Now for rooting I tried ' One Click Root ' and it said " Your Device is Already Rooted"
Then I tired ' StumpRoot 1.2.0 ' it also said " Device is Rooted"
After that I installed SUper user from play store for root, after installation Super User failed to run
So I searched in root directory and found that there is a file in system folder as following
" system/xbin/su "
I don't get it. If device is rooted then why I am unable to use SuperUser
and if not rooted then what is the purpose of that file in Xbin folder ?
Please suggest what should I do ?
