missing lg software connection option topic

After I updated my phone (lg g2 T-Mobile) I can't connect with android file transfer app on my Mac and the lg software option is missing. Can someone help with this.

    I don't know just what to do. I really feel
    all this is creating me my troubles yet am likewise terrified to quit
