It was on 4.5.3. I used this thread to roll it back to 3.2.8 and was successful. It booted up fine.
So I open the browser and go back to XDA The next step is to updated to 4.5.2. The battery is at about 70% at this point. Before I do anything else, my son asks me to play catch with him, so I set it down and I go out for about an hour.
I come back and the kindle is dead. Won't even begin to turn on or make any noises.
I tried holding the power button for 30 seconds, tried holding the volume buttons and then power, charging it for a while, nothing makes any difference. And it's out of warranty.
Anyone have any suggestions? Wife is gonna be pissed that I broker her tablet, lol.
