[Q] Trouble Unlocking Telus XT 1097 topic

Hi all. I have an XT1097 that I have been trying unsuccessfully to SIM unlock. I have tried several unlock companies an all come back with the same 2 codes however they do not work. From what I can tell there doesn't appear to be a limit on the attempts. When I turn the phone on, it asks for the unlock code, but always comes back as unsuccessful. I have confirmed the IMEI a number of times so that is not the issue. I've heard there are a number of databases that the vendors can pull from. So far I have tried Cellunlocker.net, and Quickphoneunlock.com and another local person with no luck. I'm not a stranger to unlocking, but this is the first Motorola I have tried to do. Is there something quirky about them?

Does anyone have any ideas?
