[Q] Nexus 9 won't boot or even charge topic

Hello everyone,

yesterday I've been using my Nexus 9 with a bluetooth-OBD-Dongle in order to read ECU fault codes of a customers car, using the Torque Pro-App from Playstore.
After this being done, I put my Nexus on top of my desk, bluetooth and WiFi still turned on, with about 80% battery left. Eventually I came back into the office and wanted to unlock the device in order to check my mails, but there was a bad surprise: The nexus did not react on anything I've done. At first I thought the battery was dead due to some wakelock issue, but I couldn't really imagine that 80% battery charge were gone in less than 10 hours. I tried to boot into bootloader or recovery, but nothing worked. The screen stayed black.
Even after putting in the charger cable, nothing happened, no battery charging icon or something else. Simply no sign of life at all.

Currently on CM12 nightlies and Fire-Ice Kernel.

What do you guys think? Shall I wait a few days until the battery is completely dead and then try to charge/reboot it or send it immediately in and try to get a warranty repair/replacement?

Thanks :) :cowboy:
