[Q] My Nexus 5 screen goes black and won't turn back on topic

I have a 2013 original Nexus 5 black launch and quite frequently the screen will go black and I have to squeeze and bend the phone for it to come back on.

I am hoping to find out if this is a software or hardware issue.

If anyone here can help with this it would be much appreciated.

    First off I want to say awesome blog! I had
    a quick question that I'd like to ask if you
    do not mind. I was curious to find out how you
    center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing.
    I've had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my
    thoughts out there. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to
    be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or
