I use a Sony SBH80 Bluetooth headset that skips for one second every time I press the power button to lock the Moto X or when the screen locks out due to timeout. This issue is not present when the SBH80 is paired to my iPhone 5s. Both the Moto X and SBH80 support and use APTX, where as the 5s does not.
Normal troubleshooting has not revealed any solution. Turning off all radios except bluetooth has no effect, increasing Audio Buffer Size and/or Audio Thread Priority does not help and neither does disabling BT DVC (direct volume control) or DVC. Bluetooth is set to High Priority in PowerAmp.
I have tried with Google Music, PowerAmp and Neutron, all exhibit the same issue regardless of settings (which I've tweaked to hell and back in an attempt to troubleshoot this issue).
I have two Moto X 2013 on 4.4.4, one is completely stock rooted, the other is stock rooted + debloated. Stock kernel. Both exhibit the issue.
As I have two Moto X's I don't mind if my secondary gets hard bricked in trying to downgrade the Bluetooth Driver. Does anyone know how I could achieve this?
