demo mode after failed root topic

i tried to root zenfone 4.5 (a450cg ) with apk file but the rooting failed and demo mode began to show up. a friend of mine was using the phone so i couldnt fix it .. when he handed me the phone he'd rooted it using the flashable zip and removed the folder "APD" from the phone to disable the demo mode. Now i cant turn the screen off. everytime i press power button the screen goes off for a second and turns on instantly.
if anyone with rooted zenfone 4.5 could upload the content of APD folder it'd be of great help.
