Hi forum,
Got a silly story to share incase someone has run into the same thing.
In short, I was not able to see/view any of my photos stored both in phone and SD card storage.
It happens after I changed the language from English to Chinese.
My phone is running the original ROM and was/still is encrypted.
I was scared sh!tless as after a million reboots, I was still not able to see any of my pics but oddly, I was able to see the files under file managers but was not able to open/view them.
I was about to reset the whole phone as it is only my secondary phone, but I did change the language back to English in the hopes of fixing the issue. And after a billion reboots... PHOTOS FINALLY CAME BACK
:silly: ;)
